The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
